This privacy policy lets you know when I collect personal information in connection with this website and what I do with it. I don’t use, share or transfer personal information except as set out in this policy.
Here I explain how I look after people’s information.
2. No need to share your information
You can view this website without disclosing any personal information to me.
You control your information.
You can choose to share identifying and other information with me when:
- contacting me from or via the website;

- signing up to a webinar or other event (in which case you’ll be added to my mailing list); or
- subscribing to my mailing list.
Usually I’m the only who will see it. To the extent it forms part of comments on my news items that you have submitted to be published, it may also be viewable by members of the public.
You might give me information when contacting me or commenting on news items.
I’ll hold the personal information you provide through the website. It may also be stored by my web host and/or email provider.
I’ll hold your information.
I will only use the personal information you provide for the following purposes:

If you sign up to my mailing list, you’ll receive emails alerting you to new blog posts and possibly the occasional message as described in clause 6 below, until such time as you choose to unsubscribe.
I’ll use your information to touch base with you and to administer my site.
If you provide me with your email address, you will be taken to have consented to receiving commercially-oriented messages. I may send occasional emails to you in relation to my current or future services or events. You won’t be bombarded and any such emails will contain an unsubscribe facility, enabling you to opt-out of such messages at any time.
I may send you an email or two but won’t bombard you.

I might collect some stats but they’re unlikely to identify you.
If I decide to post news items and enable people to comment on them, this website will generate cookies for commenters to save them from having to re-type all their information again when they want to leave another comment. The cookies, which can be found on your computer, are named “comment_author”, “comment_author_email” and “comment_author_url”. These commenter cookies are set to expire a little under one year from the time they’re set. You can delete them manually from your computer if you wish.
If I turn on the commenting feature, this site will set some cookies, but you can always delete them.
